Your family's information stays private

A plain-language summary of what Class Hub stores, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Only what's needed to keep your family's class ledger:

Your account: name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
What you enter: children's first names, teachers' names and phone numbers, classes, schedules, attendance, fees, payments, refunds and notes.
Basic technical logs (such as time of sign-in and errors) to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To show you your classes, balances, statements, reports and alerts.
To send messages you ask for, such as reminders or a statement shared with a teacher.
To write AI summaries when you ask for one: the relevant figures are sent to an AI provider to produce the text, and are not used to advertise to you.

We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Who can see it

Only people signed in to your family account can see your family's records. Teachers see only what you choose to share with them. Service providers that host the app or send messages process data on our behalf and only for that purpose.

Payments

Class Hub records payments you've made; it does not collect card, UPI or bank details and does not move money.

Your choices

You can update or delete what you've entered at any time.
You can export your reports to Excel.
You can ask us to delete your account and your family's data.

Keeping it safe

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and each family's data is kept separate from every other family's.
