Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does my teacher need to install anything?

No. You keep the records, and teachers don't need an app or an account. You can share a clear statement with them whenever you like. A teacher login, so teachers can confirm classes themselves, is coming soon.

2. How do prepaid classes work?

Record the amount you paid in advance. Each class you mark as done is deducted at the teacher's rate — which can differ by class length, such as 30 minutes or an hour — and the balance updates itself. When only one class is left you'll see “Only 1 class left — please top up”.

3. What about missed or cancelled classes and holidays?

Mark a class as done, missed or cancelled (by the teacher or by you). Classes that didn't happen aren't charged as done, and every entry stays visible on the statement. Add holidays or breaks and those days are skipped in the schedule.

4. Does it collect payments?

No. Class Hub does not collect, hold or send money. You pay your teachers the way you already do — UPI, cash or bank transfer — and record the payment in the app. Refunds and dues are recorded the same way.

5. Is my data private?

Your family's records are visible only to people who sign in to your family account. We don't sell your data or show ads. See the privacy notice for details.

6. Can I export my data?

Yes. Reports can be downloaded as an Excel file, so you always have your own copy of classes, payments and balances.

7. Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern phone browser — Android or iPhone — with nothing to download. Use your browser's “Add to home screen” option and it opens like an app.

8. Can two parents use it?

Class Hub is built around a family, and support for adding a second parent to the same family is planned. For now, one parent keeps the records and can share statements and summaries with the other.
